More than a few clients and friends have contacted me recently more than a little confused and concerned about strange and nonsensical feelings – emotionally and physically – that seem to come out nowhere. Some feel blah and disconnected, unable to focus. Others feel out of sorts for no reason. And some are experiencing heightened sensitivity, “seeing things” and more. Even when there’s a heartfelt desire to accomplish a goal, the struggle between head and heart can stand in the way. Some where inside, consciously or unconsciously self-doubt can make best efforts feel like an uphill battle.

Maybe whatever “It” is isn’t that important, but always know that you are.
If there is a habit, pattern or limiting belief you can’t seem to overcome, you may have consciously or subconsciously accepted it as a fact of life. It may not seem that important, but if you decide to give it one more try, how could it improve your life or the way you view yourself?

The devastating emotional impact of ferocious storms, fires, floods and earthquakes can leave us in an indescribable state of despair.
So where and how do we begin?
At times like these the idea of tapping may not seem appealing, even though we know it can help. So be gentle with yourself, and consider beginning with one of the two silent options suggested. Going through the process with eyes closed should improve the calming effect.
Touch and Breathe: Beginning with the Side of the Hand (SH), apply gentle pressure and slowly take a nice deep breathe in through the nose, out through the mouth. Repeat the process at each point. Repeat as many times as you like. Remember, eyes closed.
So somewhere in your life’s journey, you witnessed or experienced some things that left you feeling socially anxious or awkward. Or perhaps you are among those who feel it has just been that way all your life, and that is possible. The important thing to know is that whether it is the former or the latter, you can overcome the challenge!
